A vision board for your business
My vision board is my guiding light; the thing that spurs me on to keep on pushing till I achieve everything I want to achieve. My vision board is what I know I deserve. One thing I encourage my clients to do is create a vision board for their business. Everyone’s board looks different and is a reflection of the direction you want your business to grow and the ultimate outcome of all of your hard work. A vision board is a visual manifestation of what you want to attract. If you want to become unstuck and take massive action to drive your business to the next level, then a vision board is highly recommended.
Creating a vision board not only focuses you on the individual things you want to achieve to create a life of success and purpose but it works with the principle of the law of attraction. What you believe is what you become. Use words that inspire and motivate you like:
- Success
- Vision
- Quality
- Customer service
And be very specific about what you are trying to achieve like
- Increase sales by 50% by December
- Attract 20% more female clients
- Earn $100K in revenue by end of quarter one
Part of the success of the vision board is how specific you make it. You can choose to do a vision board with pictures or merely with words. Either one works. The key is to place the board in a spot in your home or office where you will see it every day as a reminder of what you are working towards. Place it where people can ask you about your board so you can share your goals and dreams and speak you success into reality.
Some people have 2 or 3 vision boards but it all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Doing a separate board for your family life and one for your business and one around planning your dream vacation or some other tangible effort is exactly what you need.
