3 people to hire in your business for it to grow faster
When you start your business, you will learn very early in the game that if you want to reach far faster that you definitely cannot go on this journey alone. Besides your family and friends who may be cheering you on from the side, you need expert help, advice, and support so you can move from barely making money, to making daily sales. Here are the 3 people to hire in your business for it to grow faster.
Before we jump into who these 3 persons should be, I understand that you may not be in a financial situation where you can pay for services upfront, but get creative and see how you can barter services so both of you can benefit from this relationship. I once bartered weekly massaged in exchange for content creation services. As well, these persons can be on a short-term retainer or a very strict timeline. For example, my VA’s both work 5-6 hours a week and no more. I had one client who did 1 monthly 60-minute call with me for a set price. Negotiate the terms and conditions and do not let cost deter you from growing faster.
1. A Virtual Assistant
I like to start with a virtual assistant because most entrepreneurs do not realize is that while they are working on the business of their clients, their business still needs to operate optimally. A virtual assistant can provide you with a myriad of services to fill this gap.
When hiring a virtual assistant, be very clear about what tasks you want them to perform because all virtual assistants do not do the same things. Hire someone who specializes in your most daunting task whether that is the admin, social media, video editing, SEO management, etc. Get specific about where you need support and hire accordingly.
I have 2 virtual assistants who provide me with 2 different types of support. I chose them because of their strengths in their particular zones of genius.

2. An Accountant
Many entrepreneurs wait too late to hire an accountant. I was also guilty of this so it’s not that rare. But having an accountant on board as you begin will keep you focused on your financial goals and money management. A skill that many entrepreneurs struggle with.
Understanding your money and the laws and rules that apply to running a successful business can be daunting. This is where your accountant comes in. Your accountant should be able to guide you with your business plan, opening your bank account, even registering your business, and then help you manage your cash flow so you have a clear view of your income and expenses so you can make wiser financial decisions as you grow faster.

3. A coach/mentor
A coach is not just your own built-in personal cheerleader but a coach is your trainer. A great coach will ask you the tough questions and help you to think about scenarios and solutions you may not have been able to on your own.
Hiring a coach is not like hiring a therapist. And this distinction is important. While your coach will care about your mental well-being, the purpose of hiring a coach is so you can stay on track, learn new skills, get access to tools and resources, and breakthrough any barriers that are keeping you from performing at your best.
All great coaches have coaches. Why? Because no one can do this alone. And also because there is always someone who knows more than you because they have already done what you are now trying to do.
A coach is an asset in any business and should never be overlooked as you grow.
